Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering started New M-Tech Programme on Power Electronics and Control for Electric Vehicle Sponsored by Bosch Global Software Private limited (BGSW) Bangalore in Hybrid mode (classes online and Exams at NITK Surathkal). The maximum student intake for the programme is 40 as per the framework of the customized PG Programmes at NITK Surathkal. 

Programme Outcome:

PO­-1.  An ability to independently carry out research/investigation and development work to solve practical problems.

PO-­2.  An ability to write and present a substantial technical report/document.

PO-­3. Students should be able to demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area as per the specialization of the program. The mastery should be at a level higher than the requirements in the appropriate bachelor program.

PO-­4. To give basic understanding of economical, social, legal and safety issues associated with Power Electronics and Control for Electric Vehicle .

PO­-5. To impart knowledge related to renewable energy sources and energy conversion issues, pointing towards sustainable development, in the Power Electronics and Control for Electric Vehicle  discipline.

PO-­6. Skill development and knowledge in the area of core engineering activates (Power Electronics and Control for Electric Vehicle ) specific to the program.
